Testing Specialist

We are currently seeking a Testing Specialist to join our team to support the J62LB Applications and Business Systems Testing support contract. In this position you will provide software testing experience (integration and acceptance). Must be capable of designing and executing IT software tests and evaluating results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Must be able to prepare test scripts and all required test documentation. Must be able to design and prepare all needed test data. Analyzes internal security within systems. Reviews test results and evaluates conformance to design.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Eight (8) years relevant experience.

Experience in computer software development.

Prior experience with Program Management, System Testing, Cybersecurity, ServiceNow, Agile (development and test), DevSecOps, API, Cloud computing, Database, Audit support activities CUI required to test, implement, and manage supported systems.

Acquisition BCAT programs and systems.

DoD Acquisition Life Cycle.

Systems and Applications Testing.

Application Testing (DevSecOps, etc.).

ServiceNow.

Automated Testing Software.

Demonstrated experience with Section 508 testing tools such as:

Dragon Naturally Speaking.

Kurzweil Text-to Speech o Job Access with Speech (JAWS).

ZoomText.

Or similar Section 508 Testing Tools.

Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT).

DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).

Database Testing.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

Prior DLA or DoD testing experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Prior experience leading small test teams of 3-5 testers.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree desired.

Certification Requirements:

Relevant Information Technology Instructor/Trainer certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

DoD Approved 8140.03 or 8570.01 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I – A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE. Security

Clearance Requirement:

Must be a US Citizen.

Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
