As an Accessibility Specialist on our Design Systems team, you will evolve and maintain Agoda’s design systems, design language, UI components and design patterns, to comply with accessibility standards and best practices.

In this role, you’ll showcase your expertise in finding innovative accessibility solutions for all users and be an advocate for global digital accessibility. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of web accessibility guidelines and standards, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). You will use this knowledge to review our products for accessibility, incorporate accessibility best practices into our design system and to provide guidance and recommendations to our design and development teams on how to make our products more accessible.

Typically, product designers at Agoda work alongside a product manager, web and app engineers, and cross-functional partners. Together we drive each part of Agoda, deliver solutions to problems and gather feedback directly from customers and internal partners.

Day to day, it looks like:

Enhance Agoda’s design systems, design language, UI components and design patterns, to comply with accessibility standards and best practices.
Partner with Design, Engineering and Product leaders to incorporate digital Accessibility at scale
Collaborate with partners across the company to identify additional Design System investments to enhance the creation of Accessible experiences
Effectively communicate accessibility findings, priorities, and design rationale in written form as well as verbally and visually to gain alignment and move the work forward.
Actively advocate accessibility to the wider product organization.
Help shape the design culture at Agoda that will ultimately impact the experience our customers have with our products and services
Perform accessibility audits and report on audit findings
Develop creative and innovative accessibility solutions that adhere to organization and WCAG guidelines



Product Designer – Accessibility Specialist at Agoda means you have a track record of:

3-5 years of Product Design experience
Designing for inclusive and accessible experiences is your area of expertise
A portfolio of work relating to design systems or a strong comprehension of how they work.
Experience in implementing Accessibility in UI components, including interoperability with Assistive Technologies
Excellent communications skills- Able to articulate and explain your ideas to other designers, engineers, product managers and other stakeholders
A strong growth mindset and team-player attitude
Proficient in WCAG evaluating and remediating user interface accessibility issues
Knowledge of Accessibility requirements (e.g., Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG)
Knowledge of Assistive Technologies on desktop and mobile platforms
