Digital Accessibility Solutions Director

Inviting candidates who have experience in designing and delivering e-learning products and platforms (curriculum and technology platforms) which meet the digital accessibility standards like 508, ADA, WCAG2.X, etc. IAAP certified professionals who have worked in consulting / solutions development roles in technology, Edtech and Publishing companies are best suited for this role.

Magic Edtech is committed to making digital learning accessible to all. The company is based in midtown Manhattan-based(NYC). Exposure to Technology or EdTech or the Publishing businesses would be helpful. The candidate will be responsible to network in the education market and guide our clients to meet the accessibility requirements/regulations.

The role will require understanding the client's requirements, size up the effort to design and deliver accessible e-learning products and platforms, rite proposals, make presentations and generate revenue. The candidate should be able to work with teams in the USA and in India. The key skill required in this role is of people management and relationship building.


Technical or Professional or Business Degree. IAAP certification is a big plus

People Skills - should be able to work with global teams

Work Experience in B2B, EdTech, Publishing, Technology outsourcing services, and SaaS solutions companies.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Here are key things we will consider in the shortlisted candidate:

Previous experience in consulting and engaging with clients on a billable basis is very helpful. Familiarity with IT Technology outsourcing and education/publishing business will help. Past experience in managing a team, esp offshore is a plus. If the candidate has managed clients, solution design, delivered projects then that will be a plus. Familiarity with is social media and LinkedIn is good to have. Industry Rolodex will help.
