Your knowledge about HTML code, aria authoring practices, testing with assistive tech and good inclusive design principles will serve you well in this role. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Identifying and suggesting potential solutions for accessibility barriers based on WCAG 2.1 standards and PDF/UA as well as compliance with other accessibility related laws
Applying accessibility knowledge to a wide range of the firm's digital properties, including mobile applications, and digital documents
Coaching developers and UX designers in one on one, small group, or large forum environments
Using data on accessibility issues within products to identify, report on and drive improvements to the product features
Communicate training needs and online resources
Conduct training through existing and new materials
Detailed knowledge accessibility issues across a broad range of technologies including but not limited to the following:
Practical experience testing for WCAG conformance using Screen readers and magnifiers
Ability to analyze code for accessibility issues in HTML5/CSS3
Word, PowerPoint, and other document standards
PDF and other document standards (Nice to have but not required)
Mobile accessibility on Android and IOS (Nice to have but not required)
React/Angular (Nice to have but not required)
