SR. ACCESSIBILITY ANALYST

Responsibilities

Review our products, looking for accessibility issues and design changes to our features in order to make our platforms more accessible and inclusive
Help architects communicate expected behavior for inclusive design and assistive technologies
Go beyond WCAG to explain bugs and new feature requirements from a user-centric perspective
Assess new product designs and provide feedback on their adaptability with assistive technologies
Build reports to share Compliance updates with executives and stakeholders

Qualities/Experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher, or 5+ years of working experience, in User Experience, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
3+ years of experience working with assistive technologies.
Previous experience at a large technology company is preferred.
Experience applying accessibility standards and technologies to product development.
Deep expertise in WCAG standards, and expertise with assistive technologies such as JAWS/VoiceOver, ZoomText, and keyboard input.
Experience and knowledge in Agile software development.
Working experience with JIRA project management software.
Comfortable presenting ideas and designs to a group of passionate engineering peers.
Strong technical writing skills: ability to create compelling, detail-oriented documentation that sets up design, engineering, and testing teams for success.
Passion for product process and innovation.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must have strong time management skills in order to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
