Digital Product Manager Sr--Web Accessibility

As a Digital Product Manager Sr within PNC's Accessibility team, you will be based in the PNC footprint.

The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

PNC is searching for a Senior Web Digital Accessibility Specialist that will provide digital accessibility coaching, testing and consulting to Agile teams. The person in this position will work directly with Agile teams to deliver high-value, accessible digital products & services to our customers. They will help teams find and fix accessibility issues. A strong candidate for this role will be passionate about serving customers with disabilities, deeply familiar with WCAG, and comfortable working within a cross-functional team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
• Work with development teams and help them build new experiences that are accessible or fix accessibility problems in existing applications
• Help integrate accessibility into the development process
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Developers, Designers, Quality Assurance, Content Contributors and Product Owners to execute accessibility requirements
• Perform WCAG assessments on digital assets and identify violations in HTML, ARIA and CSS
• Identify and clearly document accessibility issues
• Identify and clearly document recommendations for accessibility remediation
• Stay up-to-date on technology and experience patterns to continuously communicate changes and updates to our approach to accessibility

For this role, the following background and experience is recommended:
• At least 3 years of current experience in professional Digital Accessibility testing with at least 5 years of total experience in software development preferred
• Accessibility testing experience with the following screen readers:
• Jaws
• NVDA
• Experience in evaluating designs and overall experiences for at least WCAG 2.0 A/AA conformance
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills

Preferred Skills/Certifications
• IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
• IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS)
Job Description

Supports and executes digital strategy across business segments to optimize digital experience, leveraging design thinking and other best practices.
Completes analysis of digital experience trends, and third party requirements as necessary, in support of the development of new and existing digital experiences. Supports business case development.
Makes effective recommendations for the development and design of new and existing digital experiences. Supports & manages the development, production, roll-out or promotion of digital experiences.
Partners with key stakeholders including Product, Technology, MIS, Line of Business, Marketing and other internal service partners as well as external stakeholders to ensure all digital experiences meet their strategic goals. Participates in product-specific marketing initiatives. As part of the first line of defense, supports risk management, compliance, and audit needs.
Supports business results of recently introduced or existing digital experiences, coordinates reporting, and effectively recommends modifications to improve results.

Base Salary: $55,000 - $142,350

Salaries may vary within the range based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience and education

Generally, this opening is expected to be posted for 48 business hours from 2.9.2024, although longer with business discretion.
