Student Services provides a comprehensive welfare and support service for all matriculated students, which includes:

Immigration, Disability, Finance, and Academic advice.

Pastoral support in halls of residence through the Warden Service

Out of Hours support

The main information service to the students from the ASC (The Advice and Support Centre).

Wellbeing, Coaching, Counselling, CBT and Mental Health coordination, working within a Matching Care model.


The Digital Accessibility Adviser will work across the University and sits within Student Service’s Disability Team. The role will work in close collaboration with the University Library, the Centre for Educational Enhancement and Development (CEED) and IT Services to promote digital accessibility.


The role involves supporting students through the provision assistive technology training to students, along with supporting the provision of alternative formats for print disabled students, assist students as they participate in disability screening, and setting up in-house support for students with a broad range of disabilities. More broadly, the postholder will be a champion for increased digital accessibility, raising awareness and delivering training to staff, helping to ensure digital content is compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. The postholder will hold a critical role in the promotion of inclusive learning practices and improving the student experience, particularly for disabled students.

Student Services
Salary: £33,797 - £40,322 per annum
Start: As soon as possible

Salary Range: $33000 - $47000
