Office/Accessibility Technician

Half of this position will help to find and correct web accessibility issues on Weber State University websites. This job will give you great experience to an emerging and growing area of education.

The other half of this position will assist with general office duties for the IT Finance and Office Manager.

Individual will perform general clerical, secretarial and office duties, which include filing, data entry, compiling of paperwork, interacting with Information Technology employees, etc.

Because this is a Vice President’s office, applicants must assume the appropriate professional demeanor and the highest level of confidentiality and dress accordingly.

Criminal Background check is required as a condition of employment.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

General office experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience using current versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Email and calendaring tools, mobile devices and tablets.

Applicants must have good writing and interpersonal skills; good customer service skills; multimedia experience a plus; ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects.

Understanding of HTML and CSS. Good understanding of web best practices and standards, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML 5, CSS3, Javascript, Responsive Web Design and Content Management System experience. Weber State Site Manager experience is a plus.
