Senior Quality Engineer

Essential Responsibilities

Experience in testing web application functionalities, content and mobile apps against WCAG 2.1 Guidelines and W3C.
Perform web accessibility testing with assistive technologies such as NVDA, Zoom Text, Web Developer Toolbar Chrome extensions like AXE, WAVE and Accessibility Insights For Web with the understanding of their interactions with multiple web browsers and OS platforms.
Should be able to work with multiple screen readers, keyboard only testing, Zoom testing and high contrast modes.
Hands-on experience in Browser Accessibility Analyzers and Color Contrast Analyzer.
Performing accessibility checks with automated tools and verifying the results manually.
Creating or generating violation reports and of each product tested.
Good understanding of Semantic HTML5 and CSS3 standards.
Good with both written, oral communication and analytical skills.
High level understanding of STLC & defect lifecycle.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Ability to ask clarifying questions in time to meet deadlines.
Significant ability to pay attention to details and perform quality checks on deliverables produced to ensure the everything is correct
Other duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor's Degree, good to have IT background with good communication skills 1 to 3 years of relevant experience

1- 3 years’ experience in Digital Accessibility activities
