Purpose of Job We are seeking an Accessibility Advisor I to work a hybrid (onsite) to our San Antonio Corporate Office or our regional offices in Phoenix, AZ, Tampa, FL, Charlotte, NC, Colorado Springs, CO, or Plano and Austin, TX offices.

Applies knowledge of accommodating individuals with disabilities in establishing internal standards, policies and procedures as they relate to a particular domain (digital, documents, facilities, MSR service). Provides mentorship on standard methodologies and innovative solutions to meet accessibility standards. Collaborates with partners to identify and prioritize operational risks, develop mitigation strategies and implement process controls. Captures and monitors data to evaluate and demonstrate the effectiveness of the accessibility program. Serves as an ambassador and advocates the importance of accessibility and its impact to members and the association. Participates in project planning and execution to ensure accessibility objectives are fulfilled.

Primary Responsibilities:
Identifies and handles existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a Business, Computer Science, Computer Human Interaction, Architecture/Engineering Design; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

4 or more years operational experience in a digital, document, building/construction, or customer service environment with knowledge of accommodating individuals with disabilities.

Preferred Experience:
Expertise of WCAG guidelines, content design and technology

Experience with 3rd party oversight

Experience with Quality Assurance (QA) and control validation

Compensation:
USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $72,900 - $131,400 *( this does not include geographic differential it may be applied based on your work location)
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.
Shift premium: will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
