Tuvli is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to lead all software testing activities (manual and automated). He/she will conduct verification and validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) testing of enterprise government applications, including front and back-end testing. The selected candidate will be responsible for writing, executing and maintaining software test plans. The candidate must be familiar with standard software testing concepts, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Work with end users to define Acceptance Criteria and the Definition of Done

Lead all UAT activities

Work with development team to resolve open issues and bug fixes

Measuring and reporting test coverage across all applicable coverage dimensions

Configuring, using, and managing test environments and test data

Writing, evaluating, and executing test cases and test plans for functional, system, regression, and Section 508 compliance testing

Reporting defects and working with the technical team to resolve them

Creating in-sprint optimized scripts along with automated test data and environment configurations to meet targets, following established standards for creation, storage, and version control

Participating in code reviews to ensure that test scripts support front and back-end testing

Ensuring the appropriate test related tasks are scheduled during release and iteration planning

Actively collaborating with developers, Business Analysts, system engineers and stakeholders to clarify requirements, especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness

Participating proactively in daily standup meetings, backlog grooming sessions, retrospectives and suggesting and implementing improvements

Working with high-level end users to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

10+years of related experience is required

Prior experience implementing Agile Test Strategy

Experience testing software for Section 508 compliance and related testing tools such as JAWS, WAT, and WAVE

Prior experience with automated software testing and related tools such as Selenium Web-Driver and WinRunner

Experience with mobile web application and mobile Section 508 compliance testing a plus

Experience writing test documentation such as Test Plans, Test Scripts and Test Reports

Strong analytical skill and mindset, with research, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities

Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing

Very strong organization, multi-tasking, communication, time management, and documentation skills

Prior experience with FDA’s EPLC process is a plus

Prior experience with data analysis, creating reports and developing queries

The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or a green card holder and be able to hold or be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
