Overview

Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team (PM, UX, engineering) team to ensure that our products are inclusive, meet the needs of people with disabilities, and meet accessibility compliance requirements

You Will

Evaluate the accessibility of Web technologies, mobile accessibility, and native applications using internationally recognized standards, guidelines and techniques.
Triage accessibility issues for multiple products and be the subject matter expert on the team to guide other team members
Advise our teams and customers on how to make our products conform with the standards of accessibility and maximize the usability for users with disabilities.
Conduct quarter accessibility audit for the wide range of products and put together reports to help the team and leadership understand where the gaps are
Design and Implement the accessibility fixed within our products including our mobile SDK and mobile apps
Provide technical updates and leadership on the progress of accessibility programs

You Have

At least 8 years of software development experience
Experience with at least one of the following languages and related development tools: Objective-C, Swift
Experience with assistive technologies
Experience using accessibility APIs on any platform is helpful, but not required.
Knowledge of either UIKit or AppKit APIs is helpful, but not required.
At least 1 year of experience with native development for iOS
At least 1 year of experience with Swift for iOS
At least 1 year of experience with Objective-C for iOS
At least 1 year of experience in setting up CI/CD for the iOS apps
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree or equivalent experience
Experience shipping customer facing apps to the App Store
Advanced familiarity with GitHub
Experience building native frameworks or SDKs that are used by other apps is an advantage
Knowledge of the Android platform or a will to learn and become an expert in both Android and iOS is an advantage
