Responsibilities –

Conduct comprehensive accessibility evaluations and tests on digital products, websites, and applications.
Utilize a combination of manual testing, automated testing tools, assistive technologies, and user testing to identify accessibility issues and barriers.
Evaluate compliance with accessibility standards and guidelines, such as WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
Document and report findings, including detailed descriptions of accessibility issues, standards violations, and improvement recommendations.
Collaborate closely with development teams, designers, and content creators to provide guidance on resolving accessibility concerns and integrating accessible design principles.
Stay informed about the latest accessibility standards, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure that evaluations align with the most current guidelines.
Provide training and guidance to individuals and teams involved in creating digital content and raising awareness about accessibility best practices.
Participate in developing and improving accessibility testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Monitor and track progress on accessibility remediation efforts and provide ongoing support and feedback to ensure compliance.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies, assistive devices, and tools used by individuals with disabilities to ensure compatibility and accessibility.

Some experience Quality Assurance and Testing with relevant hands-on experience in Automation and Accessibility
Some experience in Automated Testing of web-based application
Understanding of UI Automation using tools like Selenium web driver & Automation framework development with HANDS-ON
Used Java and JavaScript as programming language
Good experience in JavaScript libraries JQuery, Ember, Angular
Proven experience as an Accessibility Tester, Accessibility Analyst, or similar role.
Familiarity with accessibility testing tools, assistive technologies, and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Some Experience in conducting manual accessibility testing and using automated testing tools (e.g., screen readers, colour contrast analysers, browser extensions).
Understanding of diverse disabilities and their impact on digital interactions.
Ability to generate clear and concise reports, effectively communicate findings, and provide actionable recommendations.
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with evolving accessibility standards and technologies.
