The Microsoft 365 consumer product management team is seeking a Director of Product Marketing Management for Office, OneDrive, and Accessibility. In this role you can influence the future for some of Microsoft’s flagship products as you lead a team of product managers for Office and OneDrive consumer apps & services within the broader Microsoft 365 consumer portfolio. This team also leads product management for some of the hero Accessibility features & scenarios across our apps & services, such as Immersive Reader and Accessibility Checker. Come help ensure we continue to delight the hundreds of millions of people who use these products every day, while continuing to grow these products and improve our relevance with new generations of customers.
Responsibilities
The consumer product management team leads cross-functional initiatives with partner teams including Market Research, Engineering, Design, Finance, and Data & Analytics to answer questions such as:

What unmet needs do we want to solve for our customers, and how will we solve them?
Is the product available & performing in the manner users reasonably expect?
How are people using the product? Is the product being used in the way we would expect?
What is people’s sentiment about the product?
How is the product performing in the marketplace relative to competitors?
What overall business results are we seeing from the product?

We use these insights to guide investments and priorities across both Marketing and Engineering. In this role you will be expected to generate high-impact ideas, engage and influence stakeholders across disciplines while driving initiatives to completion.

This is a people manager role, and you will lead a team of 4 to 5 product managers and senior product managers. We are seeking an excellent people manager with a great track record of helping employees achieve their full potential, including employees who range from new-in-career to experienced employees.
Qualifications

This position requires 10+ years in product marketing, product management or program management.
Experience leading teams along with the ability to recruit and retain top talent is required.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with partner teams such as Market Research, Engineering, Design, Finance, and/or Data & Analytics is required.
An ability to ramp-up on technical topics in an effective manner and be able to participate in and lead discussions with engineering stakeholders is key.
In addition, candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellent oral and written communications abilities, strong analytical and interpersonal skills - including the ability to interact with senior engineering and marketing leaders.
The ideal candidate should also have strong people management skills and experience.
