The Applications team is looking for talented software engineers to help make our applications more accessible to users with disabilities.
Key Qualifications

You are excited by the idea of working on a product that makes a tangible difference in peoples’ lives.
You have an eye for detail and care about the little things that make an experience great.
You exhibit a strong sense of personal responsibility and strive for continual self-improvement.
You communicate effectively and are able to provide and receive constructive feedback.
You can achieve phenomenal results with only high-level direction.
You are proficient with Objective-C and/or Swift and have extensive experience building iOS and/or macOS applications.
You’re fluent with common software design patterns and computer science fundamentals.
A plus, but not required: you have experience building accessible applications.

Description

We are a small team of engineers from a wide variety of backgrounds all centered around a shared mission to help people lead more independent and productive lives.

On a typical day, we work together with design and QA to implement features that improve the accessibility of our applications. Our team is pushing the boundaries of what is possible and building our new ideas directly into the frameworks so that they can be used by other developers. Because of this, we frequently need to collaborate with other teams so clear, effective communication and the ability to stay organized is key to our success.

Your work will enrich the lives of millions of users by ensuring that our applications are accessible and usable by everyone, regardless of their ability.
Education

Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
