Job Summary

*Telework (within Minnesota or neighboring states) and flexible hours options are available.*

*Up to 5% travel with occasional travel to conferences and travel to Area Agencies on Aging in Minnesota no more than once or twice a year.*

The purpose of this position is to create and distribute materials and content through printed materials, advertisement, social media and presentations that explains the services of the Senior LinkAge Line.

Responsibilities include:

Using graphic design skills, plan, design, print and deploy marketing materials through various platforms including social media, printed materials, presentations, marketing promotional items and advertising
Develop a Social Media strategy to increase awareness of the Senior LinkAge Line (SLL) and educates the people of Minnesota
Display a consistent message across the Area Agencies on Aging
Develop the yearly Health Care choices to provide key information of the Medicare Advantage Plans available in Minnesota
Track inventory of materials and provide materials to Area of Agencies on Aging and other organizations
Provide back up for other functions of the Senior LinkAge Line Management and Budget (SLL MBA) staff and respond to issues and questions from the Area Agencies on Aging

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

2 years professional experience monitoring social media and creating social media content.

Experience must demonstrate the following:

Skilled at using Adobe, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or a similar graphic design tool
Developed print, ad, social media and presentation content

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Library Science, Communications, Technical Writing or related degree may substitute for 1 year of professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with content targeted for older adults and/or to diverse populations
Skilled with using social media tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social or Buffer
Experience with accessibility tools for WCAG 2.1 and ADA compliance such as JAWS, Siteimprove, Userway
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures
