Section 508 Specialist

This position is responsible for supporting client Section 508 assessment of web pages, web assets, and documents: including independent validation and verification of web pages, web assets, and documents previously 508 compliance certified, utilizing automated tools such as JAWS, NVDA, Window Eyes, Voiceover, MAJIC, Dragon, the Accessibility Management Platform (AMP), CommonLook and Microsoft Office. This position requires knowledge and experience with WCAG, Section 508, and ADA standards and in conducting review and analysis related to a range of client products.

Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

At least 1 year of experience as a Section 508 Specialist, with demonstrated knowledge Section 508 principles.
At least 1 year of demonstrated experience in conducting review and analysis of products in relation to compliance with Section 508.
At least 1 year of experience working with Section 508 automated tools such as JAWS, NVDA, Window Eyes, Voiceover, MAJIC, Dragon, the Accessibility Management Platform (AMP), CommonLook and Microsoft Office.
