Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and prioritize operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement process controls. Gathers and monitors data to evaluate and demonstrate the effectiveness of the accessibility program. Serves as an ambassador and advocates the importance of accessibility and its impact to members and the association. Participates in project planning and execution to ensure accessibility objectives are fulfilled.

About USAA’s Enterprise Accessibility Office (EAO)
The Enterprise Accessibility Office (“EAO”) is responsible for overseeing USAA’s Enterprise Accessibility Program, the Enterprise Accessibility Policy, and the Enterprise Standards for accessibility. As a governance function, EAO provides oversight and guidance to the Business while monitoring adherence to the Enterprise Accessibility Policy and related accessibility standards. The team performs routine oversight inspections and other oversight activities. The Enterprise Accessibility Office operating model consists of the following core components that support the operationalization and integration of accessibility throughout the enterprise: Governance, Consultation, and Oversight. EAO currently reports through the Chief Design Office and up through to the Strategy and Brand Organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs multiple team roles in the development and implementation of business initiatives.
Acquires and applies business knowledge (products, processes, etc.) and subject matter knowledge to work on assignments and business problems.
Gathers and analyzes information and data trends to extract meaningful results.
Develops and maintains knowledge of the competitive landscape and applies that knowledge to identify potential business improvement opportunities.
Approaches business problems with curiosity and open-mindedness and listens to creative suggestions of others.
Demonstrates a willingness to try new ideas.
Proactively shares timely updates and information with relevant parties.
Encourages an open exchange of information and viewpoint.

Acquires and applies accessibility subject matter knowledge to work on assignments and business problems.
Utilizes business and industry knowledge of accessibility/ADA risk management requirements, policies, laws, and regulations to support development and implementation of accessibility/ADA risk requirements on business action plans, projects, or operational requests.
Provide and maintain an enterprise accessibility policy and related standards and requirements.
Consult with and provide guidance to cross-functional teams and lines of business (LOB) to integrate accessibility into their processes.
Provide accessibility guidance LOB leaders and agile teams and serve as an accessibility signatory for new activities (NAAC); Responsible for revising and maintaining the accessibility questions for the new activity assessment checklist.
Provides input to COSA’s and business areas with understanding of accessibility risks and control deficiencies to support action plans and recommendations to minimize accessibility risk exposure and strengthen control environment.
Provide guidance to assist the LOBs with their Issue Management related to accessibility.
Maintain oversight to LOBs issues related to accessibility and engage with them to ensure effective resolution.
Complete routine governance inspections of LOBs to assess adherence to the Enterprise Accessibility Policy and standards.
Provide guidance to assist the LOBs with their Procurement decisions to ensure that accessibility criteria are considered.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Computer Science, Computer Human Interaction, Architecture/Engineering Design.
4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
4 or more years operational experience in a digital, document, building/construction, or customer service environment with knowledge of accommodating individuals with disabilities.

Preferred Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of Title III Americans with Disabilities Act and accessibility.
Advanced knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and digital accessibility.

Compensation:
USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $72,900 - $131,400.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.
Shift premium: will be addressed on an individual basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
