We're hiring a Technical Program Manager focused on Accessibility to lead our ongoing efforts in building inclusive and accessible experiences across Figma’s product surfaces. This TPM will drive the execution of our accessibility audit and remediation programs, partner closely with teams across engineering, design, legal, and product, and help shape the systems that make accessibility a core part of how we build at scale.
This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Lead Figma’s accessibility audit and remediation program, partnering with vendors and internal teams to ensure we meet WCAG standards across all product surfaces
Design and implement scalable systems for accountability, visibility, and delivery around accessibility across the organization
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Product Management, and Legal to integrate accessibility into the product development lifecycle
Develop clear tracking systems and dashboards that surface progress and risks to stakeholders across altitudes
Partner with PM and Design leaders to improve how accessibility is handled within shared components of internal design systems
Support compliance efforts on high-stakes projects, including enterprise customer requirements
Contribute to broader TPM team practices, helping us scale program operations with clarity and care
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
5+ years of experience in technical program management, ideally supporting product engineering or UI platform teams
Experience leading complex cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery
Familiarity with digital accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), tools (e.g., screen readers, QA audit vendors), and practices
Proven experience designing, implementing, and refining program infrastructure, such as scalable processes and team rituals, to drive alignment and execution
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
Experience working with external vendors on contracts, procurement, and capacity planning
Clear, concise communication skills and comfort presenting to both ICs and senior leadership
A systems mindset—you enjoy identifying gaps, proposing improvements, and iterating based on feedback
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Prior hands-on experience with accessible product development as an engineer, designer, QA, or PM
Familiarity with Figma or other collaborative design tools
Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where priorities shift quickly
Exposure to working on accessibility in mobile apps or machine-learning-powered user interfaces
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
