ABOUT YOU

As Accessibility and Special Programs Coordinator (Bargaining Unit IAM, Lodge 264), you are compassionate, organized, and driven by a desire to create an inclusive, welcoming experience for all travelers. You thrive in collaborative environments, build strong relationships across diverse groups, and communicate clearly and empathetically. You’re equally comfortable planning high-impact programs and jumping in to support individuals in the moment. With a sharp eye for detail and a proactive mindset, you anticipate needs, solve problems creatively, and take pride in making a meaningful difference every day.

What you will do:

Lead and enhance accessibility and special assistance programs at Logan Airport, ensuring they address the evolving needs of travelers with physical and hidden disabilities.
Coordinate initiatives such as Wings for Autism, Meet and Assist, and the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard Program, while providing training, guidance, and timely guest support.
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure ADA compliance, respond to guest feedback, and drive continuous improvement in accessibility efforts.
Represent Massport through guest engagement, committee participation, and special events, contributing to a more inclusive and welcoming airport experience.

WHAT YOU OFFER

3–5 years of guest service experience with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, ADA, and FAA regulations preferred.
Skilled in planning and execution, with ability to shift from strategy to tactical implementation.
Proficient in computer applications and able to stay composed in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
