Accessibility Expert

We are looking for an Accessibility Expert with a deep understanding of digital accessibility, ready to lead and support high-impact projects for both public and private clients. This role plays a key part in ensuring that digital products, services, and content are accessible, inclusive, and compliant with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct accessibility audits and evaluations on websites, mobile apps, software platforms, and digital documents.
- Prepare technical reports based on WCAG 2.1/2.2, EN 301 549, and other relevant guidelines.
- Collaborate with development, design, and product teams to implement inclusive best practices.
- Support clients in achieving regulatory compliance (e.g., AGID, ADA, Section 508).
- Deliver training, coaching, and awareness sessions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up to date on legislation, assistive technologies, and accessibility trends.
- Potentially participate in tenders, EU projects, policy advisory initiatives, or applied research activities.

Skills and Experience

- Proven experience in the field of digital accessibility.
- Advanced knowledge of WCAG, ARIA, semantic HTML, and assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, alternative input devices).
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
- Ability to interpret and communicate European and international accessibility regulations.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally within multidisciplinary teams.
- Certifications such as CPACC, WAS, or CPWA are preferred but not mandatory.
- Fluent English is required; German and French are considered a plus.
