About the Role
As a Compliance Specialist, you help protect and strengthen Restoring.Our.Youth.Organization’s (R.O.Y.O) integrity by ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies. This key role in advancing accessibility and inclusion across our organization. You’ll assess and enhance the accessibility of our websites, facilities, and programs, ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508, and WCAG standards.
This position is ideal for someone who’s equal parts problem solver, educator, and advocate, someone who can balance technical expertise with compassion and a commitment to equity. You'll identify risks, uphold standards, and promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical practice.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Monitor and assess compliance across all programs and activities.
* Develop, update, and enforce internal policies and procedures.
* Develop and implement accessibility policies and procedures that align with ADA, Section 508, and WCAG standards.
* Conduct audits of digital properties (websites, applications, and documents) and physical environments in coordination with media & marketing to ensure compliance standards are met.
