Senior Analyst - UX Design & Accessibility


Function Overview:
User experience is at the forefront of eCommerce and Digital Marketing team initiatives, as putting the consumer experience first is our #1 objective. In this role you will help us to create and optimize meaningful, usable, and delightful experiences on our websites . You’ll inspire others to put the user first and craft experiences that highlight our appliances, which are integral to the user's everyday life.


In this role, you will be responsible for driving UX initiatives to optimize online experiences for millions of viewers across our portfolio of brands through research, prototyping, and testing. As well as be the subject matter expert for web accessibility. Our ideal candidate is a great storyteller and strategic thinker with an innate passion for consumer experience, user feedback, UX trends, and best practices. You’ll be able to effectively summarize user research findings, provide well-informed recommendations for implementation, and partner cross-functionally with analytics experts, developers, eCommerce product managers, and digital brand managers.



This position is based in Benton Harbor, MI, with Flexible Work Time or Remote Work arrangements for highly qualified candidates.



Job Responsibilities:

Uncover insights and discover areas of opportunity through consumer data, analytics, trends, UX best practices, and competitive analysis and translate these insights in to intuitive user experiences
Create thoughtful and impactful product concepts, wireframes, flows, information architecture, prototypes, and UI pattern
Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
Develop testing strategy to answer hypotheses and incorporate a data-driven approach to pull actionable insights from those test results
Build quantitative and qualitative user tests based on proficient knowledge in user research methodologies
Clearly articulate your experience design decision making process to business partners and executives
Provide monthly updates to key stakeholders
Build internal testing & design capabilities through trainings and introducing new tools to the business
Take risks and champion new ideas


Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
3+ years' experience in eCommerce, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Strategy, Finance, Operations or IT within a cross functional role
Experience presenting & influencing findings to peers and senior leadership in a group setting



Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction/Design, Psychology, Communications or related field
Hands-on user research role identifying UX design enhancements
Demonstrated passion for learning, dealing with ambiguous situations, and aligning with cross-functional partners on decisions
Proficiency in analytics to uncover opportunities and calculate ROI of UX enhancements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience or familiarity with designing for accessibility standards
Proven ability to make smart decisions about how and when to apply research methods based on solid understanding of their benefits and tradeoffs
Experience using UserTesting.com to deploy user tests
Experience working in agile environment and sprints
