Digital Experience Platform Manager

The Digital Experience Platform Manager is an integral member of the Digital Experience Team. This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Digital Experience & Analytics with managing the development of NAA’s digital platform technology stack. The Manager will collaborate with the Digital Experience Team to prioritize audience considerations in the strategy for developing new features and managing digital platforms. The Digital Platform Manager will work with cross-functional NAA teams and external vendors to use user and market research, apply industry best practices, and implement platform management methods, while ensuring compliance with digital accessibility and brand guidelines. The Manager develops and maintains a digital strategy roadmap for designated digital platforms and collaborates with third-party providers to optimize platform functionality in support of NAA’s business objectives.



PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Manage and administer select digital engagement platforms including NAA’s online community platform, internal Intranet and other platforms.
Provide training and guidance to NAA team members on digital platform best practices and tools.
Coordinate efforts with other departments and vendors to deliver platform enhancements.
Analyze business needs and make recommendations to improve platform scalability, features, and performance.
Assist with the management and execution of select digital platform related projects.
Provide user support to NAA staff that have responsibility for maintaining website and other digital platforms content and address technical support issues.
Use analytics to identify key traffic patterns on the website to better inform the organization’s content strategy.
Coordinate with departments to drive initiatives for digital platforms (including websites, internal engagement platforms, and digital communications).
Lead projects to improve sections of the intranet or deliver new tools through the intranet.
Responsible for Accessibility Testing & consulting following WCAG 2.0/2.1 Level A and Level AA standards.
Responsible for managing accessibility vendors and ensuring NAA follows the newly created digital accessibility roadmap.
Collaborating with the marketing team to integrate digital platforms into marketing campaigns.
Advise, train, and provide specific guidelines regarding front end web accessibility for inhouse staff and external contractors.
Oversee, manage, and continuously improve the intranet’s design, content (creation/editing), navigation, and user experience.
Assisting the Digital Experience Specialist with daily task management and updating project notes in Click-up.
Strategize and map out project deliverables, action items and updates for certain Digital Experience Team projects.
Facilitate department/cross-department meetings to enhance digital user experience and platform capabilities.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of experience with UX/web design, CMS web content management, and/or HTML editing.
3+ years of experience managing cross-departmental content and projects.
Experience with conducting user experience and accessibility audits.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong eye for the most effective digital design, including layout and design and sense for well written, SEO-driven content.
Strong skills in grammar and syntax for writing and editing content to a format suitable for a web page.
Understanding of content requirements of the web, including information architecture, navigation, and accessibility.
Adept with knowing website accessibility standards and laws.
Strong knowledge of digital accessibility standards.
Ability to test the various digital platform elements by seeking and gaining user feedback.
Willing to learn and assist with other team activities including support visual design, information architecture, content management, and/or design management.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks. Ability to manage a cross-functional team.


PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience with Drupal 10 CMS, Higher Logic, Silk Tide, Click-up and SharePoint
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
