## Responsibilities
**Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)**
- Lead the design strategy and execution for Good Housekeeping’s digital lifestyle and shopping experiences
- Craft intuitive, beautiful, and trusted user flows for commerce-forward content such as product guides, testing hubs, and comparison tools
- Partner with editorial and data teams to blend storytelling and utility in dynamic shopping environments
- Innovate site architecture and personalized customer journeys across recipes, wellness, and product review content
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B experiments to inform and validate design decisions
- Create high-fidelity prototypes using Figma; ensure all experiences meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 A/AA)
- Contribute to and extend a centralized design system tailored for lifestyle commerce features
- Mentor and collaborate with designers and stakeholders, promoting a culture of creativity, inclusivity, and feedback
_This position is based in New York City and follows a hybrid in-office schedule._
## Qualifications
**Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)**
- 2+ years of experience designing for consumer-facing digital products, ideally in lifestyle, shopping, or publishing
- A portfolio showcasing impact on both user experience and business outcomes
- Strong UX/UI skills with mobile-first, responsive design; familiarity with SEO and data-informed design
- Mastery of Figma and prototyping tools; bonus if experienced with front-end technologies or personalization frameworks
- Aesthetic sensibility for lifestyle content; understands the rhythm of home, wellness, and product storytelling
- Collaborative, curious, detail-oriented, and committed to inclusive, accessible design"
