What does a Quality Assurance Analyst do at Hogarth?

Hogarth Digital is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our expanding team and provide dedicated technical support to one of our onsite digital studios with one of our global clients based in Wiltshire. Working in a cross-functional client delivery team, your role will be to ensure that the quality of the studio's digital output is maintained in line with the client's expectations and agreed SLAs.

You will take a hands-on approach in implementing tests covering accessibility, browser and device compatibility, and functionality. You will ensure quality and error-free digital output across the studio, ensuring all digital assets undergo thorough QA testing and certification prior to release.

Responsibilities

Oversee and execute all the QA activities, ensuring the 'right first time' mentality is adhered
to and the correct processes are in place to support this
Complete manual testing of assets, including functional tests, design checks, browser compatibility tests, accessibility tests (in compliance to AA Standard WCAG2.0), mobile and
tablet device tests (Android and iOS) and WCAG & W3C validation
Identify and implement resolutions to any defects, proactively highlighting risks to management to that expectations around deliverables and SLA compliance can be effectively and accurately managed
Design and execute resolutions to brief completion, including regression testing, validation and verifications of fixes
Use JIRA to track all defects, regression tests and fixes
Provide ongoing status updates to all internal stakeholders on any ongoing QA processes
Produce test strategy documentation, specifying functionality, specification and requirements

Reporting lines and key stakeholders

This role reports to the Senior Integrated Project Manager.

You will work closely with the onsite multi-disciplinary studio, as well as the client studio.

Requirements

Substantial QA experience, gained within a creative or production agency
Exceptional attention to detail with a strongly analytical approach to problem solving
Proven ability to work and participate in a cross-functional team setting with an open, collaborative communication style
The ability to review existing processes and tools, and identify opportunities for improvements that positively affect overall team performance
