Our Client’s mission is to transform health and wellness via products that enable consumer engagement and a best-in-class experience. They are currently taking on a major initiative to redesign and rebuild many of their customer facing digital assets. This effort will include a completely new approach to developing software, using the latest design approaches, technologies, and processes.
We are looking for an Accessibility Product Manager with experience working in a fast-paced, startup like environment. As the APM you’ll work closely with the A11y Design and A11y Engineering teams to help manage and grow our digital platform and ecosystem by driving A11y into our integrated digital experiences. You will be an A11y champion across many teams, and will also partner with product owners, agile managers, and leadership to mature the offering and ensure it exceeds the expectations of all customers and users.
4+ years’ experience leading cross functional project management initiatives with Agile/Scrum practices (SAFe is a plus)
Ability to interpret and advise on standards, principles, and techniques for meeting A11y success criteria (including WCAG 2.0 AA, WCAG 2.1 AA, and WAI-ARIA)
Strong knowledge of assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)
Familiarity with Responsive Web Design and mobile apps with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
Knowledge of Rally, Teams, Confluence, and other cooperation tools
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and will be 100% remote! During the contract duration of 6 months, the compensation ranges from $40-$54/hr. After 6 months, the position will convert to FTE at which point the salary ranges from $80k-$110k/yr.
Salary Range: $80000 - $110000
