We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accessibility Tester to join our team. The Accessibility Tester will be responsible for assessing digital products and services to ensure they are accessible to users with disabilities and compliant with accessibility standards and guidelines.


Responsibilities:

Conduct accessibility evaluations of websites, web applications, mobile apps, and other digital products using manual and automated testing techniques.
Evaluate digital content and user interfaces for compliance with accessibility standards and guidelines, including WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).
Identify accessibility barriers and usability issues experienced by users with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
Generate detailed accessibility reports documenting findings, issues, and recommendations for remediation, and collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and improvements.
Test web pages and applications using assistive technologies, such as screen readers (e.g., JAWS, NVDA), magnifiers, voice recognition software, and alternative input devices.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as an Accessibility Tester, Accessibility Specialist, or similar role, with a strong understanding of accessibility principles and guidelines.
Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines, including WCAG 2.0/2.1, Section 508, ADA, and ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications).
Understanding of web development technologies and languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA.


Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification in accessibility, such as Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS).
Experience with accessibility testing tools, such as Axe, WAVE, or Accessibility Insights.
Experience with accessibility testing on various platforms and devices, including desktop, mobile, and assistive technologies.
