Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience with Android accessibility framework development.
Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
3 years of experience with iOS or Android application development.
3 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, and/or debugging.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role, and experience developing accessible technologies.
Experience in embedded/device systems, mobile optimized websites, mobile web browsers, client application development, third-party libraries for Android or iOS with programming experience in Java, Objective-C, or C++.
Knowledge of UI frameworks (i.e. Android, iOS, or XML), MVP application design and complex, reactive touch based UI.

Our Software Engineers in Mobile Applications work on many projects that carry varying responsibilities. You will build Google products (Advertising, Android, Google+, Chrome, Earth, Gmail, Maps, Search, Wallet or other exciting projects) for either Android or iOS.

Responsibilities
Identify ways to improve the quality of information available to accessibility and minimize the work for developers
Make improvements to Android infrastructure
Integrate machine learning to fill in gaps in developer-provided data
Identify and fix bugs to improve lower quality information for developers
