The Senior Accessibility Compliance Manager is responsible for providing oversight and direction at a national and state level on matters relating to compliance with the telecommunications industry, including Telecommunications Relay Services. The position works with internal and external partners from a compliance perspective. Partners with the training department to establish comprehensive compliance training programs for the accessibility team. Manages, schedules and coordinates large team compliance projects.

Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Gov’t Affairs, Project Management, Business Development required
Masters Degree in Business Administration or JD preferred
7-10 years experience in international, federal and state government telecom compliance required
5 years experience in cross matrix management/project management experience required
Knowledgeable of telecom related policies and standards set forth by the International Telcom Union (ITU), Title IV of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Federal Communication Commission (FCC) telecom policies, State Public Utilities Commission (PUC) rules and orders required.
Critical analysis of public policy required.
Submission of compliance reports as required by FCC and State Gov’t agencies required.
IAAP Certifications: CPAC, WAS, ADS, CPABE preferred
Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)

Proactively support T-Mobile Accessibility designated legal counsel with FCC TRS compliance matters and FCC engagements –including active participation in meetings with FCC representatives plus preparation of reports, comments, and ex parte communications for filing with the Commission.
Prepare and timely file the FCC’s annual mandatory iTRS Certification Application necessary for the company to remain in the IP Relay and IP CTS business.
On an ongoing basis, support the drafting and filing of the, previously quarterly now biannually, mandatory DeafBlind and General IP Relay Outreach Report to FCC.
Facilitate biweekly government and compliance check-in meeting to review, discuss, and resolve pending as well as emerging issues.
On an annual basis, plans and leads comprehensive internal review of each T-Mobile Accessibility TRS account.
Respond to inquiries from team members regarding FCC rule, state contract related matters, Do Not Contact (DNC), Consumer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI), California Consumer Privacy Act, and Record Retention, etc.
Provide DNC refresher training/tutorial as needed per tailored DNC training developed for the Accessibility team.
Works closely with T-Mobile Office of Privacy
Ensure annual filing (with FCC) of the requisite TRS CPNI Certification.
Actively support the Accessibility team’s international expansion portfolio by way of compliance related matters.
