Lead Accessibility Tester

Position Purpose

The InvestCloud team is looking for a Lead Accessibility Tester who is a highly motivated to continuously improve the overall format and construction of the Accessibility process and flow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a passion for Quality and improving readability, coherence and overall effectiveness in Accessibility testing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop guidelines for development teams to ensure Accessibility compliance
Performing testing across both web and mobile apps to ensure Accessibility compliance
Create Test Strategy and Test Plan as it relates to verifying Accessibility compliance for multiple products
Documenting all test artifacts for client transparency and fulfilling audit requirements
Mentor and train team members on Accessibility
Research changes in Accessibility guidelines or tools to ensure company is adhering to latest standards

What We Look For

Experience auditing websites/apps for ADA and WCAG compliance
Minimum 5+ years of software testing experience or a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a technology-related field
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task while keeping up high standard of quality
Experience providing accessibility strategy consulting to teams and understanding of the different roles and responsibilities across the disciplines of software development
Passion for improving web applications for disabled users
Empathy for people with disabilities and an understanding of the different perspectives and needs of people
At the least 3+ years' experience with screen readers such as:
NVDA or JAWS for Desktop
VoiceOver for iOS
TalkBack for Android
Experience with Deque Axe Auditor tool
Well versed with QA methodologies and best practices
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
