We are looking for a seasoned accessibility compliance professional to join the newly organized Office of Accessibility within our Legal and Corporate Affairs (“LCA”) organization. The Office of Accessibility (“OoA”) will be led by a to be hired Chief Accessibility Officer.

Your Impact:

We are looking for a passionate, innovative, data-driven individual to manage our accessibility compliance programs globally.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving global accessibility compliance initiatives and improving accessibility metrics to mitigate risk for non-compliance on our journey to trailblazing in accessibility

Specifically you will:

Partner with key stakeholders to reach a rough estimate of Salesforce employee PwD population through self- ID strategy, industry benchmarks and existing data;

Partner with HR Compliance and ES to ensure effective programs are in place to ensure continuous compliance in each country with PwD hiring compliance requirements;

Partner with ES to ensure global consistency of Reasonable Accommodations processes, SLAs for responses, resolutions for employees and in hiring and metrics;

Partner with Salesforce website owners to ensure accessibility;

Partner with the Product Accessibility team on driving accessibility compliance across Salesforce products;

Partner with the events team to ensure accessibility at World Tour, Dreamforce, Laulima, CKO and other major events;

Partner with REWS on finalizing design and deployment of universal design physical space checklist, on updating the design standards playbook, and on prioritizing implementation of design updates to ensure consistent accessible experience globally;

Partner with Business Technology on driving internal and third party software accessibility compliance;

Ensure M&A diligence include accessibility assessments and path to accessibility;

Partner with and lead local managers who are responsible for implementing local solutions for their respective offices.

Track global accessibility initiatives, drive quick wins, report out on progress and actively engage in architecture and execution on remediation plans

The Person Most Successful in this Role Will:

Be flexible, fast-moving, execution-oriented. Track record of “getting it done”;

Have experience with accessibility in a corporate setting;

Have a commitment to, understanding of and sensitivity to the multiple facets of accessibility;

Have the ability to track and report on program metrics;

Have outstanding writing and presentation-building skills in accessible formats and is a compelling communicator.

Desired Skills:

Experience with a collaboration suite such as Google Apps, including advanced expertise with spreadsheets, for leading the complex programs to produce the deliverables for the OoA;

Strong collaboration in a highly matrixed organization, with tightly connected partnership groups across multiple stakeholder groups, and with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills;

Experience in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly evolving workplace;

Ability to simultaneously manage complex workloads, multiple demands, and competing priorities under tight deadlines;

A proactive, resourceful self-starter with strong innovation, creative and problem-solving skills;

Ability to see the big picture, while having a keen detail orientation;

Operate with high ethical standards befitting of LCA;

Ability to collaborate with a global workforce.

Role Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

At least 5 years previous compliance experience in a relevant field

At least 3 years experience with accessibility in a corporate setting
