This position encompasses the full life-cycle of accessibility, compliance, inclusion, and privacy/protection—strategic thinking, planning, design, development, testing identification, and execution, regression detection, logging, and verifying deficiencies, documentation, training, and support.

As the Sr. Solution Architect of Accessibility, Compliance, and Inclusion under the Digital Experiences team, you would be working with many stakeholders across the globe in product, development, legal, marketing, training, external suppliers/agencies/developers, and senior leadership to drive forward world class experiences for everyone including customers with accessibility related needs while protecting their personal data and privacy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify top areas or issues impacting the user experience for consumers with different abilities and drive the appropriate solutions
Partner with designers, user experience leads, and product owners to ensure designs, wireframes, and pre-development technical decisions will produce compliant results
Partner with key stakeholders from security compliance, internal audit and legal to ensure technical teams will satisfy legal and regulatory requirements for controlling system access
Work with the scrum teams to ensure that all stories have well defined accessibility, privacy, and data protection acceptance criteria, test plans, and any hooks needed to enable testability

Serve as a liaison and SME within relevant teams, driving consistent standards compliant with best practices, applicable laws, and/or relevant digital guidelines

Promotes and supports a culture of compliance, risk avoidance and corporate accountability throughout the organization
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured compliance use cases.
Be able to explain clearly the accepted compliance, best practices, accessibility standards, WCAG, GDPR, CCPA and best in class industry guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 10 years digital experience
Strong leader capable of creative collaborations with designers and user experience architects, technical involvement with engineers, improving deliverables with quality assurance teams, and participation with the business and stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of various compliance laws such as GDPR and CCPA, up to date understanding of accessibility-related guidelines and standards including ADA, WCAG, AODA, European Accessibility Act
Experience with accessibility evaluations, testing and, assistive technologies, including JAWS, and NVDA
Experience with digital channels
Proven ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment.
Consistent upward and downstream communication
Resourceful, innovative, self-motivated, confident in high stress situations
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
