Business Analyst (Accessibility Consultant)

Duration: 3-month contract (generally 40 hours/week).

Location: Client in Boulder, CO, but this role can be onsite or working fully Remotely. Candidates must be able and willing to work core hours during Mtn Time Zone, 8:30AM-4:30PM. May require some flexibility outside those hours.

Compensation: Hourly position. $45-$50/hr is the target rate. Candidates must be able to work as direct Employee without sponsorship.

Requirements: Must be able to successfully clear Background Check and Fingerprinting + references requested if offer is made.

Interview (rough) schedule:

• March 25-29: Client will review resumes and conduct phone interviews of top candidates
• April 1-5: On-camera interviews

Start date: Ideally asap, but we understand they may need a little notice to finish up

Job Description:

Our Client is looking for a Business Analyst to develop processes and procedures, inventory and track compliance for the Accessibility for Web Assets Project as required by HB 21-1110.

This position will develop an inventory of digital assets including documents, forms, websites, applications and technology, assist with development of accessibility transition plan and statement as defined in HB21-1110, and track compliance of digital assets.

Examples of Duties

1. Develop inventory of digital assets including documents, forms, websites, applications, and technology.
2. Assist with development of accessibility transition plan and statement as defined in HB21-1110.
3. Investigate new tools and services.
4. Compile list of digital services and contract vendors
5. Work with Enterprise Applications Team and Attorneys to develop a process and set up a mechanism for evaluating the accessibility risk for each vendor.
6. Coordinate with departments and offices to see if they've compiled a list of documents and forms.
7. Identify Accessibility department champions.
8. Builds strong relationships with stakeholders and communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers.
9. Documents and analyzes required information and data.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Experience with or WCAG 2.1 AA
• Considerable knowledge in methods, procedures and practices of systems analysis
• Thorough knowledge, understanding, and effective utilization of job related information, technical skills and procedures
• Ability to conduct metric, demographic and statistical studies, and to develop appropriate recommendations integral to business case analysis
• Ability to troubleshoot a variety of problems
• Ability to work well with other employees, the public, and personnel in other departments or agencies and demonstrate the ability to interact with others that results in cooperation, mutual respect and common benefit

Salary Range: $45 - $50
