The Accessibility Center of Excellence at T-Mobile is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Technical Product Manager (TPM) to assist with ongoing efforts to make T-Mobile websites and applications accessible to everyone. As a member of the team, you will work with cross-functional development teams to identify, analyze, and resolve accessibility issues for both web and apps.
Leadership, sound judgment, analytical thinking, negotiation, the ability to influence and inspire, and a passion for accessibility are some of the skills required to be successful in this role. You will need to anticipate challenges and make decisions that balance the needs of the business against technical constraints.

Responsibilities
As a Sr. Accessibility TPM, you will analyze complex challenges and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional and technical user stories, and deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Some of your primary responsibilities will include:

Identifying, scoping, and driving cross-functional accessibility improvements throughout the organization.
Defining technical requirements and driving the delivery of accessibility tooling solutions

Creating best practices and organizing training efforts to drive adoption
Managing the technical roadmap
Fostering relationships between internal teams and technical partners

Ensure that product transition to steady state Operations Team is seamless.
Manage and coordinate with Vendor resources as needed to ensure a robust design with maximum configurability.
Work with Strategy and Ops to prioritize product backlog, defects, issues and pain points in production.
Provide consulting / guidance for other projects / products as to technical product architecture and capabilities.
Maintain Product Construct.

Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience with 3+ years of experience building and launching consumer products.
Agile product owner experience - managing an agile team, writing detailed business requirements, maintaining product backlog.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functionally, including technical, business and front-line resources
Experience taking multiple products from concept to launch.
Experience with assistive technologies, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 standards and guidelines and ARIA implementation.
Experience with distributed systems and/or developing large scale web applications.
A first-hand working knowledge of current web technologies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
