Seeking Hardware Accessibility Testing Expert (Must be US or Canada-Based)
JAG Global Learning is expanding its hardware accessibility testing services for clients in the United States, and we’re looking for an experienced, independent consultant based in the U.S. or Canada to support this growing line of work (Must be USA or Canadian Citizen).
If you have a strong background in hardware accessibility testing and are ready to help advance accessibility in real-world settings, we want to connect.
What You’ll Do
Test interactive hardware for accessibility compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA, and Section 508
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to identify and resolve usability and compliance issues
Conduct hands-on testing, including evaluation with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, braille displays, switch devices)
Provide thorough documentation, reports, and remediation guidance
Support JAG’s mission to create inclusive, accessible experiences across public and private sectors in the U.S.

What We’re Looking For
Based in the U.S. or Canada/US or Canadian Citizen
3+ years of experience in hardware accessibility testing
Deep familiarity with ADA, Section 508, and WCAG standards
Experience using and testing with assistive technologies
Strong written communication and reporting skillsProject Details

Location: Remote (U.S./Canada-based), with occasional travel within the U.S. as needed

Rate: TBD based on experience
