"Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking an Accessibility QA Engineer to join their team. As an Accessibility QA Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting various internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accessibility QA Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC or Chicago, IL (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)
Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion

What's the Job?
* Develop and execute testing strategies utilizing various software deliverable methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
* Collaborate with Development and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify risks, and ensure defects are addressed.
* Perform ADA testing according to WCAG adherence levels.
* Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
* Adhere to defined testing quality standards and participate in the team delivery/release process.

What's Needed?
* Proficiency in JavaScript/Core Java.
* Experience with ADA (WCAG 2.1) compliance testing.
* Familiarity with JAWS and VoiceOver for accessibility testing.
* Strong QA skills and experience in executing automated test suites.
* Ability to document processes and results clearly and effectively.
