We are looking for a seasoned program management professional to stand up the newly organized Office of Accessibility within our Legal and Corporate Affairs (“LCA”) organization. The Office of Accessibility (“OoA”) will be led by a to-be-hired Chief Accessibility Officer.

Your Impact:

We are looking for a passionate, innovative, data-driven, strategic accessibility champion to launch the OoA and manage global Accessibility programs. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and measuring accessibility initiatives identified by the Chief Accessibility Officer and Accessibility Executive Committee on our journey to trailblazing in accessibility.

Specifically, you will:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders and the Accessibility Executive Committee (“AEC”);

Gain executive support for, and form strategy & secure funding for OoA;

Establish the AEC with representatives from each stakeholder and partner group;

In partnership with the AEC and executive recruiting build out Chief Accessibility Officer job description and support hiring and on-boarding of CAO;

Drive the content, agenda, strategy and execution on priorities identified by the AEC;

Track disparate accessibility initiatives and drive quick wins to keep momentum from Equal Access 2023 Project;

Oversee compliance initiatives to ensure meeting all baseline accessibility compliance requirements;

Collaborate, consult and partner with Abilityforce, ES (HR), Product, Real Estate, Government Affairs, Legal, Recruiting to ensure all efforts are aligned and accessibility initiatives are supporting our overall strategy, while building accessibility allies through education and engagement

Socialize case for accessibility with leaders and provide guidelines and standards for making internal and external events and communications accessible;

Develop holistic partnership, recruiting, and comms strategy for sponsorships of nonprofits and conferences, considering Disability: IN Conference and CSUN 2020 Assistive Technology Conference;

Maintain DEI standards and score;

Strategize plan to establish Persons with Disabilities (PwD) external Workforce Development Program;

Foster inclusive culture through visible leadership, training, internal campaigns, and customer trailblazing stories

Improve upon product accessibility through the champion network of product managers to share and enable accessibility best practices;

Develop and manage the budget for OoA each year aligned with the roadmap and strategy;

Use critical-thinking skills to apply relevant data, analysis, best practices and innovative thinking to create, sustain and improve programs

The Person Most Successful in this Role Will:

Have previously developed high impact programs from scratch and have demonstrated positive impact for the business;

Have expertise with accessibility in a corporate setting;

Have a commitment to, understanding of and sensitivity to the multiple facets of accessibility;

Have the ability to track and report on program metrics;

Have outstanding writing and presentation-building skills in accessible formats and is a compelling communicator;

Demonstrate success in managing through influence;

Have successfully planned, budgeted and delivered on complex projects and programs

Desired Skills:

Experience with a collaboration suite such as Google Apps, including advanced expertise with spreadsheets, for leading the complex programs to produce the deliverables for the OoA;

Strong collaboration in a highly matrixed organization, with tightly connected partnership groups across multiple stakeholder groups, and with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills;

Experience in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly evolving workplace;

Ability to simultaneously manage complex workloads, multiple demands, and competing priorities under tight deadlines;

A proactive, resourceful self-starter with strong innovation, creative and problem-solving skills;

Ability to see the big picture, while having a keen detail orientation;

Operate with high ethical standards befitting of LCA;

Ability to collaborate with a global workforce.

Role Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

At least 8 years of relevant professional experience

At least 4 years program and project management experience

At least 4 years experience with accessibility in a corporate setting
