Position Summary

The College of University Libraries and Learning Sciences has an opportunity for a student employee to serve as Accessibility Analyst. The student in this position will work independently under the direction of the head of the University Libraries user experience team to evaluate the user experience of using the University Libraries’ systems and services with a variety of software and hardware tools for visual accessibility.

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience using JAWS screen reader software.
Experience using Braille computers.
Ability to read Braille.
Experience evaluating library services for accessibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using LibGuides, EBSCO Discovery Service and research databases.
