Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the CIO Organization playing an influencer role for the Digital Experience (DX) and Journey & Change Management Centers of Excellence (COE). We are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual who will be to lead a market facing credential for Accenture for accessible & inclusive IT. This role requires a blend of design & engineering qualifications with a specialization focus on product accessibility. This role will drive some organizational change and optimization in the agile delivery approach & dev sec ops model to meet aggressive objectives for accessible products.

Responsibilities:

The individual will support the DX and Journey & Change Management Leadership on several dimensions and is expected to dynamically prioritize this support as needed:

Strategic Planning: Working with leadership team (LT) to create a formal roadmap of priorities and strategic delivery; including expected outcomes and benchmarks for accessibility. Work across Accenture to elevate the value the Digital Experience COE brings to broad organization objectives including establishing a market credential for Accessible IT

Governance: Managing the decisioning process, including driving timely submissions of quality inputs; capturing decisions taken (including consequences and commitments); communicating and monitoring decision actions and proactively flagging any challenges to decisions being executed.

Program Management (PM): Supporting the COE Accessibility leaders to successfully drive their functional initiatives. Partner with the Technology Towers to identify process, tools, documentation, asset management to enable product teams to build in accessibility into product delivery. Partner with Product & Software Engineering to establish approach to eliminate accessibility issues in production code. Continue education and learning from design through delivery to ensure best practices in design & product development eliminate the need for heavy oversight and monitoring.

Internal Communications & Learning Paths: Supporting the Studio LT with development of internal comms vehicles (e.g. articles, social posts, videos, newsletters, blogs etc.) to launch & reinforce Accessibility objectives and results. Continue to establish learning paths for the UX & Delivery teams to stay current on Accessible product design & delivery

External Communications & Marketing: Manage inventory of COE credentials and use cases, dedicate some time to work with Client Teams on rfps and Client conversations to share credentials.

Technology & Innovation: Identifying opportunities for tactical improvements (e.g. through task automation, use of centralized tools / repositories etc.) and helping the LT strengthen innovation processes, tools, management reporting and culture specifically for Accessible IT

Experience (X) -Measurement – Represent the Accessibility dimension & define measurement approach for Accessible IT

Keeping pulse of Accessibility and the ongoing reviews/testing that will continue on new/existing solutions


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Expert (5+ years)

Professional Skills:

Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $115,000 - $188,599
