Seattle Colleges is looking to hire a student intern for a Digital Accessibility Intern position with the Compliance and eLearning departments at the Seattle Colleges District Office. Salary for this position is $21.30 per hour. Application is open until filled, with first review beginning March 31st, 2026. This position is open to current students at Seattle Central College, North Seattle College, and South Seattle College; candidates must be enrolled in courses by the start of the internship. Students interested in leadership, editing, writing, design, informatics, UX design, or teaching are encouraged to apply. Under the direction and supervision of the Accessible Technology Manager, the intern will help ensure all digital content, platforms, and services comply with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Washington Policy User-01. This part-time position works up to 19 hours per week, primarily during 8:30am - 5:00pm, and requires a minimum of a 3-month commitment. The schedule may accommodate hybrid remote and onsite work. Responsibilities include testing and remediating digital and print content, accessibility checks, collaborating with faculty and staff, maintaining tracking systems, and recommending improvements. Candidates should have experience with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills. Familiarity with Canvas or STEM coursework is a plus.
