Westat's research, technical, and administrative staff of more than 2,000 is located at our headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, near Washington, DC.
Job Summary:
Westat has an immediate opening for a top-notch Document Production Coordinator to work in a fast-paced team production environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Report and proposal production using in-house standard templates/style codes.
Format text charts, tables, and forms.
Format resumes and experience sheets.
Create, merge, and structure standard PDFs, including fillable forms.
Create and revise diagrams/flowcharts.
Create Gantt charts.


Basic Qualifications:

A High School diploma and some college course work with 8 plus years of administrative experience to include 1-2 years of document production experience with Microsoft office software.


Minimum Qualifications:

Highly skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Ability to perform a quality check on completed work, identifying and correcting issues with spelling, punctuation, and format.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidates must be detail oriented, have the ability to handle multiple tasks, and be able to work independently.
Ability to work well under time pressure and complete jobs accurately by designated deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

Expert knowledge of and experience using Adobe Acrobat Professional and MS Office to structure and remediate files for Section 508 compliance.
Working knowledge using CommonLook software to validate and verify Section 508 compliance.
Working knowledge of screen reader software (e.g., JAWS, NVDA).
