We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our Accessibility team. You’ll be a key player in driving inclusive design across Dell Digital, helping innovate and develop processes and solutions for accessibility.

As a Product Designer you will partner with developers, product managers and business partners to create experiences connecting people to technologies that transform the way we all work and live. Your role is multi-disciplinary, delivering value in the form of design decisions. You lead design; to understand and empathize with people to help your cross-functional team solve customer and business problems across Dell Digital. You won't be working alone. As a member of the Accessibility team for Dell, you provide guidance and awareness from a design view point to help in our mission to ship world-class digital commerce products. Together we will affect millions of customers worldwide and help drive multi-billion-dollar businesses.

The Accessibility Team will collaborate with the teams across the company to establish new policies for Accessibility at Dell while driving inclusive design and customer-focused outcomes. The team will be responsible for delivering guidelines and training for Dell Digital. They will operate as the subject matter experts on Accessibility for Dell Digital and offer consultant services to the broader organization. This team will partner with product teams across Dell Technologies to bring awareness of accessibility into product development while continuing innovation specific to automation and testing to help the CICD process.

Your responsibilities include:

Driving accessibility into products through inclusive design, awareness, and innovation
Representing UX Design subject matter expertise within a cross-functional team
Leading discovery, conception and execution of global design solutions in accessibility
Developing the approach for tackling a design problem
Practicing Human-Centered Design methodologies
Partnering and collaborating with researchers, engineers, designers, product owners, and business stakeholders on all initiatives
Evolving and evangelizing our Design System
Develop and deliver accessibility training
Guiding and mentoring designers

As a Senior Product Designer, your professional background demonstrates:

Years of high-level performance as a user-centered design leader creating customer and business outcomes
Contributions to multiple shipped products
Solutions within a product or program that connect to a broader strategic vision
Experience solving design problems with content and writing
Experience with WCAG 2.1
Presenting objective rationale to partners for design decisions
5+ years of design experience with focus in digital
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Information Systems or equivalent experience

You have expertise and knowledge in the following skills, are strong in two more and capable in 2 others:

Front-end Development
Quantitative Research and Analysis
Prototyping
Visual Design
Writing
Information Architecture
Interaction Design
User Research and Synthesis
Experience applying Test Driven Development in a pairing environment
Knowledge of lean concepts within a manufacturing or software context
