Web Compliance Manager

Reporting to the Director of Digital Communications, the Website Compliance Manager will play a critical role in safeguarding and advancing the institution's digital presence supporting Cancer Research & Patient Care, and the Institute's Philanthropic and Advancement efforts. This individual ensures all public-facing websites and mobile applications comply with laws, regulations, and institutional policies including HIPAA, Privacy, Information Security, and Accessibility (WCAG/ADA). Partnering with internal requestors, external vendors, and the Institute's IS, Compliance and General Counsel, the manager establishes compliance for new projects, maintains vigilance across existing platforms, and protects against risks related to the improper handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI). Primary duties include managing compliance and risk, governance and review of website initiatives, conducting compliance audits, developing policies and procedures, educating staff on digital compliance standards, and continuous improvement of compliance practices. The role supports Dana-Farber's mission by ensuring secure, accessible, compliant, and trustworthy digital platforms for patients, caregivers, researchers, and the public. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and 5+ years experience in website governance or digital compliance.
