* **Location:** Anaheim, CA (Open to CA/FL hubs – Anaheim, Glendale, Orlando); hybrid, at least 2x onsite per week; subject to change

* **Pay:** 75-80/hr

**Responsibilities**

* Groom Jira issues to identify and clarify critical and high accessibility bugs, updating descriptions and work plans with clear requirements and code samples.
* Analyze backlogs and support project development teams to identify root causes for accessibility issues.
* Engage with and coach scrum-masters or studio leads to ensure critical and high bugs are prioritized and resolved holistically across applications or sites.
* Perform accessibility audits of web pages, UI workflows, and mobile applications using automated tools, manual testing methods, and assistive technology products.
* Test and retest in-scope applications, clearly documenting results and recommendations.
* Identify accessibility violations and recommend detailed code solutions and best practices for remediation.
* Rapidly prototype to evaluate technical solutions for emerging or in-flight development.
* Collaborate with external vendors and internal accessibility professionals to identify optimal solutions for complex requirements.
* Validate and help define acceptance criteria in BDD/Gherkin format.
* Design, develop, and implement test-related code, including tools, unit tests, test scripts, test harnesses, and other infrastructure for validating Windows and/or mobile applications, libraries, drivers, and interfaces.
* Take ownership of test automation, designing or customizing automation tools as needed.
* Develop feature code and support engineering efforts when not working on test-based deliverables.
* Translate technical requirements and product goals into appropriate code and automated tests.
* Design test plans and support testing tools and processes.
* Manage continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Xcode Server, VS Build Server) for test targets, reporting, and user support.
* Participate in code reviews, agile planning, and scope estimation.
* Generate and maintain technical documentation as needed.
* **iOS development or QE experience is required.**

**Basic Qualifications**

* Minimum of 6 years of development experience in a complex enterprise organization.
* Expert understanding of and ability to interpret **WCAG 2.1 AA** standards as development requirements.
* Expert knowledge of **HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices 1.2.**
* Extensive hands-on experience with UI design and development emphasizing accessibility compliance.
* Proven experience resolving accessibility defects and delivering code-level remediation or training.
* Strong ability to document required code changes for complex accessibility defects.
* Proficient in assistive technologies including **JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), NVDA, Narrator, ZoomText.**
* Skilled with testing tools such as **Chrome DevTools, color contrast analyzers, HTML validators, and accessibility bookmarklets.**
* Personal or professional understanding of how people with different abilities use assistive technologies.
* Exceptional collaboration, listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Detail-oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with a passion for quality.
* Experienced using **Jira** for issue and project tracking.
* Able to work independently with minimal day-to-day guidance.

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Demonstrated passion for and development experience in **Web Accessibility**.
* Hands-on experience designing and developing WCAG-compliant web or mobile applications.
* Knowledge of or experience in **Angular** environments.
* Experience mentoring and coaching teams across multiple studios on accessibility best practices.
* Experience contributing to and maintaining accessibility documentation, guidelines, or standards.
* Familiarity with **Confluence** as a documentation tool.
* Awareness of updates in **WCAG 2.2 AA**.
* Experience testing **Server Delivered User Interfaces (SDUI)** such as **Flutter**.

**Education**

* Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science** or related field required.
