Systems Analyst 3 understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.
Responsibilities
- Lead user research initiatives and journey mapping to gain deep insights into user interactions and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual hierarchies in accordance with established accessibility guidelines and branding standards.
- Collaborate with Code for America and cross-functional teams to apply industry best practices.
- Engage in discovery workshops, feedback sessions, and sprint planning to ensure that design decisions are aligned with business objectives.
- Employ a comprehensive suite of tools and implement usability testing, responsive design, and SEO optimization strategies.
- Complex System Design: Ability to understand and design for complex business logic and regulatory requirements, particularly in domains like government services, healthcare, or finance.
- Understanding of Accessibility Standards: Knowledge of WCAG and other accessibility guidelines to ensure inclusive design. Interpreting new and changing business requirements to determine the impact and proposing enhancements and changes to meet these new requirements.
- Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
- Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
