Sony Corporation of America seeks a Senior Analyst in San Diego, CA to analyze technical reports from the web accessibility scan results and develop remediation plans and recommendations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the electronics manufacturing industry using RPA to verify accessibility status of websites; performing web development to create RPA logic to streamline website accessibility checks and generate website status and web accessibility compliance reports; creating guides for image, video, social media and accessibility requirements definition; developing and implementing policies for website and domain governance, social media, and web accessibility; conducting regular policy reviews to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards for the Americas and EMEA, including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), EN 301 549, European Accessibility Act (EAA), French Digital Accessibility Law, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III; utilizing Web Accessibility Standards and WCAG to ensure digital content meets or exceeds compliance requirements; using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to identify, diagnose, and remediate accessibility issues within codebases and to provide technical recommendations for accessibility fixes; and conducting manual accessibility tests using assistive technologies including the NVDA screen reader, color contrast analyzer, and screen magnifier.
