Fable

About Fable

Global enterprise work with Fable to make products more accessible for over one billion people who live with disabilities. Our customers include global leaders like Walmart, Slack, and Shopify. Fable was listed by LinkedIn as a Top Startup in Canada two years in a row, awarded Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies in Design, and received accolades from global entities like the World Summit Awards and the UN endorsed Zero Project.

We’re building the future of inclusive digital experiences by making it easier for companies to collaborate with and learn from the unique qualifications that people with disabilities bring to the table. We’re scaling inclusive design, built on the principle that the people who experience a problem are critical to solving it. And by doing so, we’re enabling thousands of people with disabilities to earn income in the technology sector.

Purpose of the role

The VP, Product & Engineering will lead Fable’s product and engineering teams, taking over responsibility from a co-founder who has historically led both functions. This transition marks a pivotal shift for Fable — from a founder-driven product vision to a scalable, innovation-driven technology organization capable of capturing and retaining market share. We serve two main stakeholders through our solutions; enterprises aspiring to build products that are usable and accessible to everyone, as well as people with disabilities who want to engage in the tech sector through gig-economy work.

As VP, Product & Engineering, you will define and execute a long-term product and technology strategy at Fable, including the integration of AI capabilities into our products, scaling our offerings for international markets, and building on the unique role Fable plays in the research and accessibility eco-systems.

This role is Toronto or Remote based (GTA preferred).
