Accessibility Expert

We are looking for an **Accessibility Expert** with a deep understanding of digital accessibility, ready to lead and support high-impact projects for both public and private clients.

This role plays a key part in ensuring that digital products, services, and content are **accessible, inclusive, and compliant** with international standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Conduct accessibility **audits and evaluations** on websites, mobile apps, software platforms, and digital documents.
- Prepare **technical reports** based on WCAG 2.1/2.2, EN 301 549, and other relevant guidelines.
- Collaborate with **development, design, and product teams** to implement inclusive best practices.
- Support clients in achieving **regulatory compliance** (e.g., AGID, ADA, Section 508).
- Deliver **training, coaching, and awareness sessions** for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up to date on **legislation, assistive technologies, and accessibility trends**.
- Potentially participate in **tenders, EU projects, policy advisory initiatives**, or applied research activities.

**Skills and Experience**

- Proven experience in the field of **digital accessibility**.
- Advanced knowledge of **WCAG, ARIA, semantic HTML**, and assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, alternative input devices).
- Familiarity with **testing tools** such as Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
- Ability to interpret and communicate **European and international accessibility regulations**.
- Strong **communication and client management** skills.
- Experience working **cross-functionally** within multidisciplinary teams.
- Certifications such as **CPACC, WAS, or CPWA** are preferred but not mandatory.
- **Fluent English** is required; **German and French** are considered a plus.
