Senior Front-End Engineer
Join a tight-knit engineering team that builds and maintains Field Website Manager (FWM)—an internal platform that powers a large subset of websites for individual field representatives and district offices. The team is embarking on a significant platform update to host a new class of high-visibility websites for top field offices. You’ll help shape the UX, performance, and reliability of a platform seen by thousands of advisors and end customers.

What You’ll Do

· Build modern front ends: Design and develop performant, accessible React applications for the Field Website Manager platform.

· Ship new sites at scale: Help deliver the new set of top-office websites, including templates, components, theming, and content workflows.

· Own quality: Write clean, testable code with robust unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews and champion best practices.

· Level up UX: Drive responsive layouts, accessibility (WCAG) standards, performance budgets, and analytics instrumentation.

· Collaborate deeply: Partner with product, design, content, and platform teams to scope features and deliver iteratively.

· Contribute to services: Occasionally build or extend back-end endpoints/services in Golang, and collaborate with service teams (Java/Go).

· Improve the platform: Evolve build tooling, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and developer experience.

Required Qualifications

· Multiple years of professional front-end development experience in an Enterprise environment.

· Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

· Expertise in HTML5/CSS3 (responsive design, modern layout techniques) and component-driven development.

· Experience integrating with RESTful (and/or GraphQL) APIs and handling auth, routing, state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or Context).

· Testing experience (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright).

· Practical knowledge of build tools and packaging (Webpack, Vite, or similar) and Git-based workflows.

· Solid grasp of web accessibility (WCAG), performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.

· Ability and willingness to contribute to back-end services in Golang (or strong back-end fundamentals with willingness to learn Go).

Nice to Have

· Experience with SSR/SSG frameworks (Next.js), design systems, storybooks, or internal component libraries.

· Familiarity with Java services and microservice patterns.

· Drupal Experience (Or other Enterprise CMS).

· CI/CD experience (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

· Experience with multi-tenant site platforms, theming systems, CMS integrations, or content workflows.
